EXCEPTIONAL!!! I highly recommend the Grapevine for parties and celebrations. My husband just threw me my 40th birthday party there last Saturday night. The party was *** and I attribute that to my husband, of course, and the owners Brian and Lori Burke and their staff. We, as well as, all our guests were very well taken care of the entire night. Dan, the main server at the party, was circulating constantly filling wine glasses and offering appetizers. He was very knowledgeable of the wines and was very helpful and friendly to myself as well as the guests. The whole staff was really nice and very accommodating. It was very clear that they've done this before and they know what they are doing. Brian made the planning process easy and stress free. He was always available to talk or meet with my husband to go over the details. I pretty much just had to show up! We dropped off flowers for the tables and my cake hours before the party was to start. When I got there the flowers were on the tables and they set out the cake later on in the evening. They just handled everything. I didn't have to worry about the little details. The quality of the food and wine were exceptional. Everything was served hot and there was always plenty of it. The restaurant itself was packed in addition to our party of about 40 people. The jazz band was really good and even sang "Happy Birthday" to me! There was just this great vibe the whole night. It felt very upscale yet relaxed. I am still getting compliments on how great the party was along with the food, wine, band, and even the beer! Everyone had a great time-especially me! I am so happy that I will always have such great memories of my 40th birthday. A night spent with my family and friends and one heck of a party!

It was great to meet you and your wife the other night while enjoying a Bottle of Cab. from the IL lable as well as a few of your fabulous small plates menu. It was a wonderful experience and I will return often. Looking forward to working with you and your wife on some future tastings and charity events.

What a great find! So glad we came to the Grapevine. The food was wonderful, service was great and there was so much wine to choose from. Can't wait to go back to hear the jazz.

We came in august of this year. The patio is beautiful, and we loved the beautiful location. Some suggestions, have more international wines, California can get kind of boring. And we would like to see some new menu items, the menu has been the same every time we have been there, seasonal would be nice.

My husband and I were thrilled to come across your wine bar Saturday night! As Thirtysomethings, we just don't do the "bar" scene anymore! We were extremely impressed with your vast selection of wines, and even more excited to find 2 of our favorites available: Albert Bichot Sauvigny-les-Beaunes (which we enjoyed) and Cline Cashmere (which we will come back for). Since we had already eaten dinner, we just perused the menu (and the plates on tables around us) and thought the food looked and sounded great. The only thing I really considered ordering was CHEESE! I was a little disappointed, though, after the waitress explained the "new" and "old" world selections, and not a single one was French! How about adding a French cheese tray, with a creamy Brie or Camembert, a pungent Roquefort and a nutty Emmenthal or Gruyere? We will be back!

I discovered this great place a week ago and have been there three times! The owners Lori and Brian as well as their staff were very gracious and made me want to frequent thier place often. Two days after my first visit, I attended a wine tasting with a girlfriend and we both agreed it was a great spot to go when the husbands are home watching sports!

We are in love with this little place and have been raving to all our friends. The owners are extremely welcoming and friendly. We threw a surprise party for my sister here and were treated wonderfully. The guest of honor loved and so did all of our guests! Cannot say enough positive things about it!!

The Valentines Day Dinner was perfect. The gracious owners were on hand to personally greet everyone, the service was great, the food was superb, the portions were just right, and the wine they suggested was a wonderful compliment to the meal. As an added bonus, we were able to avoid the bad weather by parking in the parking garage(free) and take the elevator to right near the inside restaurant door!
